Bearing/Pulley Attachment to Shafts?
Hi...I've just achieved my 55th birthday! I have done a BUNCH of stuff, including 22 years military service. I have whenever possible done my own mechanical repairs, but I can't see how you secure your pulleys and bearings to your shafts. I'm familiar with keyways but how do you control lateral movement? Thanks Eric in Oz.

HI TO ALL
I am planning to build two 36" prop ducts. I would like to know what the pitch should be so it will push at low rpm. I plan on using a VW engine for power. I would also like to know how many blades each prop should have. If it can't be at low rpm that is ok. How fast can it be? I looked at the site with the prop graphs and got lost. ANY INFO WILL HELP.
Thank you
