                             Buying Insurance

                             Looking to insure
                             Asked about boats
                             Said it was a hover
                             He starts taking notes

Broker                   It doesn`t touch water?
                              So it must fly!
                              No matter how low.
                              No matter how high.

Me                         No, it doesn`t fly,
                              Rides a cushion of air.
                              Helps to reduce,
                              The wear and tear.

Broker                    You say it`s a boat,
                               Yet travels on land?
                               Crosses the meadows,
                               And over the sand?

Me                          Yes, but the hull
                               Stays very low.
                               Maybe ten inches
                               As high as it goes.

Broker                    So what`s the speed?
                                How fast will it go?
                                Will it stop quickly,
                                Being so low?

Me                           This may be hard
                                For you to take.
                                A hovercraft
                                Has no brake.

Broker                      What! No brakes!
                                 How do you stop?
                                 I`m turning you in,
                                 Calling a cop!

Me                            Now just wait,
                                 It`s made this way.
                                 Well designed,
                                 We have the OK.

Broker                       Not with me!
                                  I will not insure!
                                  Get out of my office!
                                  You dangerous curr!

                                   So just a thought,
                                   If you want advice.
                                   Don`t even mention,
                                   It`s fastest on ice.
