 Cheaper In Bulk

hover Supplies

When you start hover,
You need this and that.
Not very much,
Your wallets not fat.

So you start cutting,
With so much care,
And ever so slowly,
Getting somewhere.

Used up your sandpaper,
So picked up some more.
Needed more brushes,
Then bought a score.

Looked at the glass,
Down to the last yard.
Your last drop of glue,
You watch getting hard.

So better add more,
To that shopping list.
And watch your vacation,
Fade into mist.

Cause I`ll be sanding,
I don`t need more sand.
And when I`m finished,
Will see some foreign land.

The carbon and kevlar,
Had held up well.
`Til that last post,
From someone called Mel.

He said "more carbon",
It worked well for me.
Was so much better,
That was the key.

So back to the store,
And fill my truck.
Left all my money,
They wished me luck.

Here`s what I`ve learned,
To save you the trips.
Sir, it`s the truth,
Straight from my lips.

Buy your sandpaper in bulk,
And your paintbrushes too.
And the glass and the carbon,
And the kevlar and glue.

Would you settle for some Dylan?

Blowing In The Wind

How many roads
must a man hover down
Before they can call him a fan
How many seas must your
poor hover sail
Before she has to see dry land
How many times must your
skirt seams split
Before you have to sew them by hand
The answer, my friend,
is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind

How many years can
a lift fan exist
Before it is wrecked by the sea
How many years can some fans
exist
Before they break into three
How many times can a man pay the bill
And
pretend that he just doesn't see
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the
wind
The answer is blowing in the wind

How many times must a man look up

Before a hover he buy
How many years must one man work
Before he can hear
himself cry
How many bugs will it take till he knows
That too many insects
have died
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind
The answer is
blowing in the wind

avatar So true and don't forget the nitril gloves!! I ran out the other day and had to
use some old latex ones man it was brutal to say the least!
So you have the
talent of the written word really down to a T Mike. I enjoy all of it! I was
thinking I need to see if I can put some music to your words (I need a
hovercrafters blues)and my next victims at Muscoda around the campfire could
enjoy live original hover music! I've gotten good at dodging the occasional raw
tomatoes that Gerry has thrown at me over the years, but that was before he got
his hearing aids!!
