That Is The Question
The Kill
Was the day of liftoff,
Almost ready to race.
Most of the work done,
A smile on my face.
Need to top up the fuel,
And recheck the oil,
Install a kill switch,
Adjust an air foil.
This was not that much,
For us to do.
It wasn`t just me,
I had a seven man crew.
Then Joe bumped the starter,
And wouldn`t you know.
Rolled over once,
Then started to go.
Out through the door,
Just missing my truck.
But that was it,
The end of my luck.
The neighbour looked up,
When it was beside her.
Screamed out her lungs,
Never seen a ghost rider.
As hover blew flowers,
And shrubs everywhere.
It run down her fence,
Threw wood everywhere.
Now it`s headed,
Straight for their pool.
But clipped the bar,
Only ate one bar stool.
The trouble is,
Was man on that chair.
Just got off it,
As it flew through the air.
Then just before,
It could get wet.
Got all tangled up,
In their volleyball net.
Guess that is better,
Than where it was headed.
People in the pool,
Would all be beheaded.
So here is the moral,
And I bet you will.
Very next thing,
Install a kill.
