I know this has been discussed many times on this site and other sites I have visited over the years. All of the information is on a foam duct but what is so different about my problem is that the entire duct is made of wood 3ply 1/8" marine plywood on the in side and a rib placed every 12" and then 3/16" veneer on the out side.

I would like some input on why this happens and how to repair this problem.
